Policy research

AI and the Global South

This project explored how Global South-based civil society can achieve effective inclusion in decision-making across the AI lifecycle and AI governance. The research includes first-hand insights from civil society organisations as well as those of stakeholders in multinational technology companies and international aid organisations (including UNHCR, WFP, Google.org, Meta and Microsoft). The report identifies four pathways for greater Global South civil society participation and inclusion, with cross-sectoral policy recommendations. The research also informed the development of ‘Raise Your Voice’, an award-winning serious game developed by Accenture and King’s College London.

AI in the Public Sector

The Pathfinder project engaged with public service leaders across the globe to hear their latest thinking on re-inventing public service in the age of generative AI. Drawing on candid, one-on-one conversations, findings were compiled into an interactive report. Pathfinder 2025 highlights key perspectives on building a strong digital core, transforming the workforce, and evolving the role of generative AI in public service.

Digital Identity

I led a strategic research project exploring how digital identity and guardianship wallets could support individuals who require trusted assistance in managing their digital lives. The research surfaced key use cases for children, older adults and the sandwich generation, who balance caregiving responsibilities for both. The project translated emerging digital identity concepts into practical service opportunities, demonstrating how guardianship models could help improve digital inclusion, reduce fraud and enable secure, user-centred management of digital credentials. The insights generated a series of public-facing thought leadership articles to demonstrate Accenture’s point of view on this topic.

AI and the Future of Work

I worked on a number of strategic research studies exploring how emerging AI technologies could reshape employees' experiences of work and the implications for organisations adopting these tools. Through qualitative research, exploratory analysis and ideating use cases, the studies identified both opportunities and challenges associated with AI-enabled ways of working. The research surfaced themes around employee experience, organisational readiness and trust, providing strategic insight and foresight. Collectively, the studies deepened understanding of the human impact of AI adoption and helped shape thought leadership, equipping senior leaders with evidence-based perspectives and practical narratives to engage clients on the future of work.
